Originally located in Toronto, Wall Translation Services was founded by Betty Wall in Toronto in 1992. After obtaining her B.A. and M.A. in German Languages and Literatures from the Universities of Manitoba and Toronto, Betty Wall honed her business skills first as an Executive Assistant and later as International Business Coordinator for companies like Magna International Inc. Ms. Wall then decided to strike out on her own. Her initial purpose was to provide German/English translation services to the automotive industry, but the business grew and simultaneous interpretation services were added to the mix in 1993. Demand was great and Wall Translation Services expanded to serve a wide variety of clients from both the public and private sectors.

Ms. Wall's role now also includes organizing, supervising and providing support to teams of simultaneous conference interpreters and employing the services of translators for a wide variety of languages. In 1996, Ms. Wall relocated the business to Vancouver, BC where it has continued to grow, serving a diverse clientele across the country and the US.
